Blackboard Collaborate facilitates live online meetings. Participants meet in real time via audio and video sessions. They then can share files, conduct polls and quizzes, write on a shared Whiteboard, and interact in various other ways. Recorded sessions can be referenced at a later date.
Members of the UVa community can use Blackboard Collaborate through the UVaCollab Blackboard Collaborate LTI tool. Through this tool, UVa students and faculty can create Blackboard Collaborate sessions and manage recordings.
Full documentation of Blackboard can be found on the tool's website: http://its.virginia.edu/software/blackboardcollaborate
