Confluence has been upgraded! is now a read-only repository. It will be permanently decommissioned on December 15, 2019. Visit UVA's new instance of Confluence to create new wikis or modify existing content.

You can organize spaces into different categories using labels. Categories provide a helpful way to group related spaces together. They quickly tell a user what kind of spaces they contain. In Confluence, you can have subcategories within larger categories, which you can use to create broad hierarchies of information.

These space categories appear on the dashboard, with the names of the spaces indented below them; click on the plus sign next to a category name in order to view the list of spaces beneath it.
